Our train consists of old style passenger coaches from the 1920s. This was prior to air conditioning; however, there's a large clear window at each seat which can be opened to enjoy the clean air of the Lehigh River Gorge.

Summer Wind, our Open Air Car, seats approximately 50 people. While seated on Summer Wind, passengers face the sides of car to enjoy the view through the open sides. Passengers are also allowed to get up and stand along the sides of the car to enjoy the breeze and gorge views. Our Open Air car does have a roof, and it will be included on our consist even in the rain.

Our Caboose includes thick, cushioned seats. Passengers enjoy sitting in the cupola or standing outside on the platform for a more unique view of the Lehigh Gorge.

Restrooms are available in the station only.

All trains are diesel-powered, unless otherwise specified.

Handicap access to the train is available at the Jim Thorpe Station. Ask for details when you pick up your tickets.

Our train is family friendly! Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the train.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome to ride the train free-of-charge.

The train ride lasts about one hour, round-trip. Schedules will be adhered to as closely as possible. We reserve the right to alter schedules and running times, without notice or liability to passengers. We reserve the right to substitute any and all motive power and rolling stock.
