Our Trains
For our 16-mile, narrated, round trip, you will ride on the Reading and Northern mainline leaving Jim Thorpe. On the way to Old Penn Haven, you will pass Glen Onoko, which is the southern gateway to the Lehigh Gorge State Park. The train follows the winding Lehigh River through the gorge rounding curve after curve until you reach Old Penn Haven.
Open Air Cars
Once seated in the car, passengers face outwards to enjoy the view through the open sides. Passengers are also allowed to get up and stand along the sides of the open air car to enjoy the breeze and view the gorge.
