Regular Season train rides last 70 minutes, round-trip. Autumn Leaf trains run 45 minutes round-trip. Holiday Trains, except where noted, are 80 minutes round trip. Schedules will be adhered to as closely as possible; but assume that ALL trains will depart on time.
We recommend arriving at least one hour prior to your scheduled train departure.
All parking in Jim Thorpe is owned and controlled by Carbon County; not by Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway nor any other affiliated company. Please contact the local parking authority at 570-325-3611 or visit www.poconomountains.com/jimthorpe/parking for more information. We strongly encourage this, particularly during peak times such as fall foliage and holiday seasons.
All trains are diesel-powered, unless otherwise specified.
Handicap access to the train is available at the Jim Thorpe Station. Ask for details when you pick up your tickets.
Our train is family friendly! Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the train.
Well behaved dogs are welcome to ride the train free-of-charge.
Restrooms are available in the station and also available on all trains.
