2026 Autumn Leaf Season INFORMATION

-TRAIN SCHEDULE OVERVIEW-
Our 2026 Autumn Leaf schedule runs from Saturday, September 26 through Sunday, November 15, 2026. We are operating daily inclusive of Columbus Day and Veterans Day. “Regular Schedule” will resume Monday, November 16, 2026.
All LGSR Autumn Leaf train rides are 45 minutes long. The full route is still covered within this time frame as with our usual 70-minute rides. 70-minute train rides will resume Monday, November 16, 2026.
-PURCHASING TICKETS-
This year we are offering online & telephone presales of Autumn Leaf Season tickets for LGSR trips departing up to and including 3:00pm.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
Presales will NOT be offered for any trains scheduled for 4:00pm or later departure, except for groups of 25 or more.
No group discounts are offered during Autumn Leaf Season.
Presale customers will still need to pick up their actual train tickets at a designated ticket window at Jim Thorpe prior to boarding their train.
Tickets for trains departing 4:00pm or later must be purchased in-person, same-day, on a first-come/first-serve basis at our Jim Thorpe ticket booth.
Presale tickets may be purchased online or by phone at 570-325-8485 (8:30am - 5:00pm daily). Online presale purchases must be completed by midnight the night before the ride. Presale purchases by phone must be completed by 5:00pm the day before the ride. There will be no same-day online nor telephone presales.
OUR TRAINS LEAVE ON TIME. No refunds will be issued for passengers missing their train(s). However, unused tickets are valid forever until used and may be exchanged for a future date and time without expiration.
-SEATING OPTIONS & PRICING-
2026 Autumn Leaf Seating options are as follows:
STANDARD COACH: $25.00/adult, $9.00/child (age 3-12)
OPEN-AIR CAR: $28.00/adult, $10.00/child (age 3-12)
Children age 2 and under receive a free ticket for any car BUT MUST HAVE THE TICKET to board the train.

The following seating options are NOT available during the 2026 Autumn Leaf Season on LGSR trains:

First-Class Lounge

Please visit www.rbmnrr-passenger.com and look into our 2026 all-day Fall Foliage excursions for Crown Class, Vista Dome, and First-Class Lounge seating. These operate Saturdays and Sundays during Autumn Leaf Season to Jim Thorpe from Reading and/or Pittston. You may also ride aboard our Rail Diesel Cars (RDCs) from Pottsville and other locations to reach Jim Thorpe. Click on the links for more information.
Be sure to advance the calendar to September, October, and/or November to display Autumn Leaf Season dates.

Guests riding our weekend Fall Foliage excursion trains to Jim Thorpe originating at Reading may purchase tickets to ride the LGSR train at 1:00pm, 2:00pm, or 3:00pm.
